    PM Box

Post by Corral on Wed 8 Apr 2009 - 15:51

Minor quibble: The text that says "Your Inbox is 92% full (or whatever it is) is now the same colour as the background on which it is written, which is making my war against my PMs slightly more difficult.

Main question: Can we raise the amount of space allocated to PMs? I've deleted just about everything that I feel entirely comfortable deleting, and it's still almost full. Every PM that I receive and want to keep brings me another 2% closer to never being able to receive another PM, or having to delete something that I may need to reference later.

Unfortunately, no. The PM saturation limit is somewhat...static. However, what I've done is copy and paste the information from the PMs to a document and saved it separately.

I'll fart around with other layouts and designs and see if I can't make this Better. I'm not the world's biggest fan of light text on a dark background, myself. But don't tell that to the Goth police.

The text colour is only a minor quibble, remember. Everything else about this design seems to work pretty well, so if it's not easy to change, I wouldn't worry about it.

Your idea about pasting the information into one place is a good one. I'll try to remember to do it when I get home. Thanks!

Note: You probably already know this but for everyone who didnt, you can also use the save box, which has its own message limit seperate from the inbox. (another 50 messages(?) can be stored in there..)

Might save a bit of trouble. Still Jills idea of saving to a document is a VERY good one.

If I ever knew that, I forgot. So that about doubles my space, and for me at least, I won't need to worry about this again for a while. Thanks! (This is easier for me because I can access it on all computers without having to upload it somewhere).

    Jill is still thmart though.
