DEVOTION v. TRAUMA TESTS Empty DEVOTION v. TRAUMA TESTS

    Post by cenobyte Mon 10 May 2010 - 16:31

Sorry for the shouting there, but I just confirmed something.

I got myself all backwards, and have been effing this up *all along*. So. From now on, this is the rule about using Devotion for Inspirations on Trauma tests:

    Be It Resolved That:
    1) "Trauma Test" means the test you make to **try to avoid taking Trauma**.

    2) "Inspiration" means a bonus to your Prowess.

    3) You may spend Devotion to gain an Inspiration to one Prowess for one challenge. No Prowess may be raised above 9 in this manner.

    4) YOU MAY SPEND DEVOTION TO GAIN AN INSPIRATION FOR A TRAUMA TEST. This is different from what I have done in the past, because I was always *thinking* about how you can't use Devotion for Healing Tests, and that somehow got transmogrified to Trauma Tests.

    5) You may NOT spend Devotion for Inspirations on Healing tests, or on anything done during downtime. Devotion may only be used at games. Once you use a Devotion, it is gone for the remainder of the game (refreshes at the beginning of each game).

    Carry on.
