November Players' Choice Award

*At the December game, we talked about whether everyone was in support of the suggestion that only regular players can be nominated for the Players' Choice Award of Zeal. We can certainly all tell Jay and Cori how great it was to play alongside them, but since they're not regular player characters (yet), I hope both of them are okay with the Award of Zeal to go to an actual regular player character.

There was one, but somehow it's gone walkabout.
I thought it was Sacha, too, but I don't have my records with me, so I'm not certain.

Maybe Tristan won in June? I could have sworn we had char. creation in May and the first game in June.

I was pretty sure that Sacha *hadn't* won yet, even though he plays consistently well. Perhaps you're thinking of the convention one-shot? (Sacha? Have you won yet?)

Besides, the others can all be confirmed by their poll dates.

I distinctly remember Sasha winning if only because of an out of game conversation a few of us had with him.

All the other ones listed I have noted records for. It's just September I couldn't find.

Sacha has been consistently nominated, but I'm pretty sure he hasn't actually won.

I started playing in July and I remember Jill having the conversation with us after the game about the player awards. I'm pretty sure nominations and awards only started after that game.

Speaking of the awards, does it bother anyone else when people nominate someone and then don't vote for them?

it may be because some people (me) when i nominate people for the players choice award i tend to give the top two or three in order of who and why i think should be nominated. So if others do that, its quite posible they were nominated as the second person on the list several times, but the first person also made it up there, so the first person on the list gets the vote.

Yeah, you're allowed to nominate three people. Personally I think that's good - it gives feedback a little sooner.

Ok then yeah, thats basically how people are up there and end up with no votes. I still think its pretty cool even being up there so it works for me

Hey folks thanks a bunch for the nod but, wow, what a great bunch of roleplayers you have. The level of enthusiasm is really what will make the game great. Going in with passion that comes from loving your character and throwing yourself into plots and that is what Cori and I saw in spades. Nice work!
